Looks like the obesity problem is not just in human these days.... their most loyal friends need to shed some fat too! Why are dogs suddenly getting obese too? Surely if the owners just stop feeding so much to dogs, the problem will go away without resorting to giving dogs anti-obesity drugs?

I might have put on a few pounds in the past month (pigging out on all that food at Christmas), and so I should watch the amount I eat in the next few weeks in order to stay slim(-ish).
