Happy New Year!

New Year, New Start, and all the blah-blah.....

It's all change for me at the start of 2007 - after over 5 years of self-employment, I am heading back into employment..... instead of working for one of the multinational giants, I am working for a small company with great potential (I am very excited about it)....

And I have a new home for my blog..... not that I have any problem with my blog on blogger, but as I get a freebie blog from my web hosting company, so why not take that advantage, eh? I hope I will have a bit more discipline in updating my blog from now on.

Sorry, my blog has been on the quiet front in the last few months. I had my dream holiday in November, visiting Argentina, Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica, and it exceeded all my expectations - I knew I would find the landscape spectacular, and I would love to see the penguins..... But I did not expect to fall in love with South Georgia, to find all the wildlife so interesting, and to be able to get so close to all the penguins and seeing all the varieties. There are loads of photos from the trip dotted around the web - a selection of my photos are on my website, Russell took about 6000 photos and he selected quite a lot to put on his website, and Jon has kindly coordinated the effort of getting a few fellow passengers to put the photos on pbase.
